Hi, I'm Naomi Fewer

I'm an illustrator based in Ottawa, known for creating vibrant, playful artwork. I love short comics with a sense of humour and charm. As a food enthusiast, I often find inspiration in the textures and colours of various dishes, and usually incorporate food into my illustrations. I'm also a brand designer! I create bold, yet approachable identities that feel both playful and welcoming. I help brands communicate warmth and personality through design that resonates with audiences on a personal level.

Allendale Long Term Care Home Murals

This project focused on creating digital murals to brighten up the Allendale Long Term Care Home. I designed and illustrated the murals shown here independently, while also managing the full project from start to finish. I worked with a team of three talented illustrators—Alex Bromaroff, Bess Yang, and Alex Zhang—who contributed their own beautiful pieces to the space. Together, we collaborated with residents and staff to make the environment feel more vibrant, comforting, and full of personality.

Personal Mural Projects

A Wellness Journal and Calendar

For one of my thesis projects at Sheridan College, I designed a calendar/planner that blends charming character art with everyday organization tools.

The planner included to-do lists, goal-setting prompts, and short blurbs of mental health advice—all wrapped in bright, comforting illustrations. My goal was to make planning feel less overwhelming and a lot more joyful.

I created both a physical version you could flip through by hand and a digital version with interactive features—like animations that responded to clicks or hovers—to bring the character to life. It was all about making everyday tasks feel a bit more magical.

Honeymoo Milk Brand

For one of my thesis projects at Sheridan College, I created a branding and marketing campaign for a beverage brand. It includes elements of logo design, packaging design, advertisement design, and social media content creation, all aimed at establishing a strong visual identity for Honeymoo. This brand identity package focuses on print and digital media.

Four Flavours
The brand features four unique flavours of infused honey goodness! Each flavour has a customized label designed to promote its natural ingredients.

Promotional Material

Bus Stop Ad & Instagram Posts. A fun, attention-grabbing bus stop ad and a series of bold Instagram posts. Both designs reflect the brand’s playful and sweet identity!

The Meaning of Moments

A collection of single-page comics that capture the overlooked, fleeting interactions and moments that reveal the deeper emotion of love. The comic explores how people move through their environments and connect with others and how love is communicated through body language, gestures, and actions. The theme centers on the universality of city living—how lives intertwine in brief, often unnoticed moments that reveal the richness of human experience.
